Crazy Winter!

This winter has been crazy! First it snows and snows and snows and we think it's never going to stop and then it rains like crazy making everything a complete and total mess. I can't believe how much snow disappeared in two days! I did get this funny picture though and just had to show you.

This is just from how the snow melted. I came home and all the snow had melted from my planter barrels except this little section giving my frog a charming little snow hat!!

Guess what?!?!?

IT SNOWED AGAIN LAST NIGHT :-( grrrrrrrr

Baking! mmmmmmmmmmmm

So I went a little crazy with my baking this year but there's not a whole lot else to do with all this snow!

(Auntie Minnie: You used to send these to dad and I just loved them so I decided to try and make them. Well I tried my finished product they tasted just like yours! I was so excited!!)

And since Kaylee's Gingerbread Play was cancelled last night due to something about snow (not sure what that was all about...........) I asked her to recite her part for us:

So since it's been snowing for over 24 hours now, this is what happens................

When I started shoveling there was about 12 inches and by the time I got done, the area where I had started already had about an 1 1/2 of more snow!

And no, that's not a white hat I'm wearing! By the time I came in I had a white crusty snow-hat on my head!

As you can tell, I am thrilled to be out shoveling! I'm just beyond excited at the knowledge that I have to go back out in a little while and DO IT ALL AGAIN!!!!!
